Generation Next Initiative for Development and Capacity Building is a non-profit, non-Partisan, non-religious, non-governmental organisation established to serve public benefit.
The Organisation was birthed in November, 2007; and started carrying out Community Development work back then, but was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja on the 25th day of April, 2012 with registration number CAC/IT/No. 52111.
The Organisation works within the legal framework of the Nigerian Constitution and in accordance with the Laws of the Corporate Affairs Commission on Non-Governmental Organizations and other relevant laws and statutes.
Purpose of The Organisation
GNI is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization founded in November, 2007 to advance, promote and support efforts of government and all other stakeholders involved in women, youth and Human developmental activities.
GNI works for and with in-school, out–of-school Youths; with interest in Indigent young people and those who are homeless. GNI provides support for young people by creating an enabling environment and empowering them and their parents, guardians and teachers to enable them achieve their full potentials.

GNI encourages volunteers who will contribute their knowledge, talent, skills and time towards achieving her goals and vision. We encourage new ideas and initiatives on how to better serve our beneficiaries. We are happy to explore flexible volunteering conditions – such as working hours, duration of volunteering and deadlines – for all our supporters.
We provide Consultancy Services to NYSC, UNICEF, ARFH and other stake holders
