Sir Professor Matthew Ogbeide OMO-OJUGO

A Justice of the Peace, was a lecturer of Applied Linguistics in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma until he retired recently.  He was a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) and  held several other  administrative  positions, such as  Dean of Post Graduate Studies and Dean of the  Faculty of Education,  Director of the  Institute of Education  in the University.

He was a member of the University’s Senate and Governing Council for many years.  He was also Provost of the College of Education, Igueben.

He is a recipient of many awards.  A community leader, Professor Omo-Ojugo has delivered several public lectures to advance the growth and development of humanity. He is sociable, warm and a committed Christian.  He is happily married and blessed with decent children and grandchildren.

Engr. Sebastine Okonofua

He is the founding Principal Partner of APTRON CONSULTS LIMITED, an engineering consultancy firm specialized in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Services. He obtained a Bachelor in Engineering (B.Eng) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma – Edo State, and a Masters Degree in Project Management (Msc) from University of Roehampton, United Kingdom. He also holds proficiency certifications/expertise is various aspects of project designs and implementation especially in renewable energy solutions.

He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He is also a fellow of the institute of management consultants (FIMC) and a certified management consultant (CMC).

With over 17-years in engineering consulting and construction, he has been involved in several projects, and in developing human capacities through trainings. His passion is to see that individuals discover ‘early’ their purpose and maximize their potentials. He believes in the doctrine of ‘living life to the fullest’.

Finally, he is also a Pastor, Mentor and Counsellor. Together with his wife, they run a medical diagnostic laboratory and a gym/fitness center in Abuja.

Prof. Perpetua Ememe

Perpetua Ememe, an Associate Professor of Adult Education from the University of Lagos joined the faculty in 2010 after serving as Graduate Fellow in the Department and practicing as facilitator at National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and part-time teacher at the Russian Embassy Children School.

She specialises in Rural Education and Rural Development, Peace Education and Research in Education. She teaches postgraduate and undergraduate students in her field of specialisation. She has held many administrative roles in different capacities in the University to date. She is an elected Senate Member and Member, Board of School of Postgraduate Studies. She also serves on the University SERVICOM Committee and Research Innovation Committee. She has been the Departmental Postgraduate Coordinator since 2016 and graduated over 15 Ph.D. and 100 M.Ed. students.

She has produced over 10 Ph.Ds.’ supervised 35 M.Ed., 10 PGDE and 85 undergraduate students. She has over 35 publications in international and national journals. Her teams won the 2008 Education Research Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA) Research Grant and 2009 University of Lagos Central Research Council (CRC) Grant respectively. She was the rapporteur at the 2016 University of Lagos Annual Research Conference and Fair, and has presented over 10 papers at different conferences nationwide.
